Charter of the Cascamorras Cultural Association, Baza

 

"Cascamorras"

In Baza, on 8 October 2006 at 9 p.m., the persons listed below appear as founder members for the constitution of an Association;

 

Don, Santiago Valero Sánchez with National Identity Card No.: 52524354-J, of Spanish nationality and resident at C/ Santa Bárbara Nº 2, 1º G. (c.p.18.800),  Baza-Granada, SPAIN. Don, Julio García Torres with National Identity Card No.: 52524420-X, of Spanish nationality and resident at Urbanización los Molinos Nº 3 (c.p.18.800) Baza-Granada, SPAIN. Don, Antonio Javier Martines Valdivieso with National Identity Card No.: 52519622-L, of Spanish nationality and resident at C/ Luna Nº 9 (c.p.18.800) Baza-Granada, SPAIN.

 

The present Charter shall commence, whose agenda is the following:

1) To constitute the Cascamorras Cultural Association of Baza called "Cascamorras", whose aims are taken from the Articles of Association, amongst others, they are the following:

b)    To undertake the historical study and conservation of the local traditions. To protect its origins and the development and foster every aspect of the spirit of the fiesta.

c)     To foster and develop any initiative or measure aimed at improving the fiesta of CASCAMORRAS.

e)   To defend the interests of the fiesta and its associates and to obtain the assistance and protection of official organizations.

h)     To enhance and boost the national tourist festival of Cascamorras.

i)    To promote all kinds of initiatives relating to this traditional festivity which consolidates the identity of Baza and its district.

 

2) Approve the Founding Articles of Association.

 

3) Election of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS, as the governing body, which is empowered collectively to modify the Articles of Association, without need for subsequent agreement by the founders, if required by the Provincial Delegation of Justice and Public Administrations, to adapt them to current legislation and shall comprise the following persons:

- Treasurer: Jose Maria Manzano Corbalán

- Institutional Relations: Tanja E. J. Vos

- Member: Jennifer Valero Sánchez

- Member: Cesar Florentin Merino

- Member: Antonio Moya García

- Member: Sergio Cachón Cañadas

- Member: Rafael Sánchez González

 

The Articles of Association are read and approved unanimously by the founder members, who decide to constitute an Association, under the provisions of article 22 of the Constitution, under the stipulations of Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March, regulating the Right of Association and other legal provisions.

 

The Chairman is required to undertake all the necessary administrative procedures with the Regional Government of Andalusia in order to legalize the Baza Cascamorras Association called "Cascamorras", which is created by this act.

Having completed the agenda, the meeting is adjourned at 10.30 p.m. on the date indicated.
