11:30 a.m.: At the Church of St. Michael in Guadix the Holy Mass is celebrated in which the presentation of "Cascamorras" is made and the ribbons placed on the flag he bears that year, officially commissioning him that year for the mission.

10 a.m.: the Collection of donations through the streets of Guadix begins, aimed at covering the costs of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Mercy. This will continue until 4 September.

11:45 p.m.: Farewell to "Cascamorras" with the following itinerary: St. Michael, Plaza de las Palomas, Calle Ancha [Wide Street], Tena Sicilia and Medina Olmos as far as the Bridge over Río Verde [Green River].

6 September (Baza).

6.00 p.m.: Reception of "Cascamorras" in Baza and traditional "Route", with the following itinerary: Cerro de San Pedro Mártir [Hill of St. Peter Martyr] ("Rodeas"), Arena, Garfio, Bull Ring, Railway Station, Avda. Andalucía [Andalusia Avenue], Plaza de las Eras [Threshing floor Square], Caños Dorados [Golden Fountains] (here he receives a dousing), Alamillos, Agua, Ancha, Corredera, Plaza Santo Domingo, Dolores, Plaza Encarnación [Incarnation Square], Plaza Mayor [Main Square], Arco de la Magdalena [Magdalen Arch], Zapatería and Plaza de la Merced [Mercy Square] as far the Temple of Our Lady of Mercy.

7 September (Baza).

10 a.m.: Collection of donations through the streets of Baza begins, aimed at collecting funds to cover the costs of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Mercy.

8 September (Baza).

11 a.m.: Holy Mass officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese of Guadix-Baza in the temple of Our Lady of Mercy.

7.00 p.m.: Solemn Procession in honour of Our Lady of Mercy which sets out from the Temple of Our Lady of Mercy and goes through the following streets of Baza: San Juan [St. John], Cava Alta, Plaza de las Eras, Alamillos, Agua, Ancha, Monjas, Plaza de la Encarnación, Plaza Mayor, Arco de la Magdalena, Zapatería and Plaza de la Merced as far the Temple of Our Lady of Mercy.

Midnight: Return of "Cascamorras" to Guadix.

9 September (Guadix).

6:30 p.m.: Reception by the people of Guadix of "Cascamorras" and traditional "Route" through the following streets of Guadix: Cuevas de la Estación [Station Caves], Level Crossing, Avenida de Buenos Aires [Buenos Aires Avenue], Puente del Río Verde [Bridge on River Green] (Dancing the Flag), Medina Olmos Avenue, Tena Sicilia, Ancha, Caño de Santiago (here he receives a dousing), Santiago, Ponce and Pozo, Paseo Catedral, Farola and Saint Michael as far as the Temple of Saint Michael where he is holed up
